Every Wednesday night our youth group (7-12th grade) gathers from 6:20-8:15 pm. Our aim is to see every student transformed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and knit into the life of the church. Our hope is that students become disciples of Jesus who make other disciples.
We do this by immersing ourselves in God’s Word, singing worship songs together, and learning how to live out biblical community in small groups. We also have a blast playing games and getting to know one another. Our hope through all of this is to partner with parents to help students faithfully follow Jesus Christ.
For our Wednesday night gathering, we also a have student led worship band. If you are a musically inclined student and would like to serve in the youth worship band, you can contact Pastor Mike.
On Sunday mornings, from 9-10 am, our whole church is invited to gather to study God's Word. During this hour, our middle school and high school groups (7th-12th grade) gather together for singing and worshiping in one large group, After singing, we break up into middle and high school groups to study the Bible in age specific ways. We try to cover a wide range of topics including: in depth looks at books of the Bible, apologetics, evangelism, theology, how to study the Bible, and history. Our youth Bible study classes go year round, except for a break in July. If you have questions or would like to hear about the current series, please contact Pastor Mike.
Our youth ministry participates in a variety of events to build fellowship, understanding, and to grow in the love of Christ. Check back here often to see what events we have going on.
Parent nights have been a helpful part of the youth ministry for parents and students alike. A couple nights each semester, parents, students and leaders gather for fellowship and teaching. During the night, we play games together, sing together, a hear a message from God's word. Afterwards, we hang out and eat ice cream together. This is a great opportunity for parents to build community with other parents, to be encouraged in their parenting, and to hear teaching on topics that are specific to this season of parenting.
One of our values as a church, and as a youth ministry, is to join Jesus in his mission in the world. We want to look for opportunities to care for those around us by sharing the Gospel, serving those in need, and looking for ways to display Christ's love. Rather than using the teen years to indulge in amusement, we want our teenagers to be empowered and trained to serve Jesus in big ways!
Some of the ways we provide these opportunities include: short-term mission trips, service projects, mercy ministry in our community, sharing the Gospel with classmates, and more.

We are planning to partner with Cabazon Fellowship again this year to put on a VBS. Summer mission is open to all 7th - 12th-grade students who have been Baptized. This year we are doing a day long service program where students will be dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon. The cost is $30 and includes lunch and snacks for the week, along with transportation to and from Cabazon each day. There will be three Sunday afternoon training meetings that will be held prior to the trip.
