God created the universe so that it would display the worth of His glory. And He created us so that
we would see His glory and reflect it by knowing and loving it — with all our heart and soul and mind
and strength. He made us to worship Him!
What Is Worship?
Worship is what we should do 24/7/365. We worship in every thought and action of life by doing
these in a way that honors God. We also come together as a church to worship God through praise,
fellowship, prayer and teaching. Our worship services at Fellowship in the Pass Church are a heart-felt,
joyful, public savoring of God. They are designed to help us seek and love God with all that we are.
Balance and Blend
The worship services at FITP are a blend of casual and formal, contemporary and traditional. Our church
is a cross-section of ages, ethnicities, socio-economic levels and personalities. So our desire is to
blend all our hearts into one great voice of glory to God. [See Romans 15:5-6]
During a Typical Service
Our services typically last 60-75 minutes. Included in each service is a time of praise to God and
encouragement to one another through music, hearing about the activities of the church, greeting and
praying for one another, worshipping through giving, and the teaching of the Word.
