The Food Pantry and Clothes Closet is a very active outreach ministry of our church, serving the communities of Banning, Beaumont, Cherry Valley and Cabazon. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday. The Food Pantry provides food for those who qualify. They are given a supply of food for approximately five days. The Clothes Closet provides good/used quality clothing for those who qualify. The clothes are provided by our church family and those in the surrounding communities. The Lord's Pantry and Clothes Closet serves approximately 500 people monthly. We have a staff of twenty-one volunteers to serve you.

The ministry consists of "phone workers", "pray-ers" and support staff. Meeting once a month, we answer calls from all over the nation that are routed to our center from the Billy Graham Evangelism Association — calls that come in response to Crusades and special telecasts by Billy and Franklin Graham.

We welcome adults with developmental disabilities living in the area. Our Friends display a gamut of affliction and disability, but each one is precious in the eyes of God, Who gave them life. Our Team of volunteers builds trust, while relying on the Holy Spirit to teach the Word of God to these dear people. We ALL laugh often, are involved in activities, create new techniques as needed, have snacks, make imaginative crafts, and sing with gusto! EVERY volunteer finds that he or she is being mightily blessed while having a very good time! Meetings are alternate Tuesday evenings, 6:30pm-8:00pm. FITP Leadership and the Director of FBC help to prepare each of those volunteering for this esteemed ministry.

The North American Mission Board, along with state Baptist convention leaders, has taken the lead in organizing Southern Baptists to respond to disasters. They contribute manpower, ministry, and financial help during floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, earthquakes, and urban disasters. NAMB uses Disaster Relief donations for meeting human needs as a priority and of sharing the Gospel and/or starting churches as part of NAMB's overall disaster relief ministry once these priorities are met. Donations to this fund may be used for multiple disaster responses as needs arise.

Beaumont, Banning and Cherry Valley are growing by leaps and bounds. God is bringing the mission field to us. In an effort to meet them early on, we began taking "Gift Bags" door to door in these new neighborhoods. The bags are filled with information, the Gospel, and some treats. One simply grabs a handful of bags and delivers each one to the address noted on the attached card. The hours are flexible and the work is easy, but very impacting.

The mountain bikers of Fellowship in the Pass invite you to come join us each Monday night at 6:30 p.m. Rides are at a beginner to intermediate level. If you don't have a mountain bike or the gear (helmet, water bottle, etc.) but would like to try it out, give us a call and we can accommodate you the first couple of times. Its a great way to stay in shape and keep the pounds off. What a wonderful way to spend a weeknight: riding in the hills and forest with other stout hearted Christians. We end the ride with a small meal and group prayer.
The locations change from week to week, so call Steve Harrison at 909.223.3630.

The visitation team is used to follow-up with visitors from Sunday worship, calling them and arranging to leave a bag with information and Scripture with them. It's an important opportunity to follow-up on their visit with us and convey our love and the message of Christ, if needed. The initial visit is vital.
