How to become a Member
Membership Process
We believe that church membership is both a privilege and a responsibility. Here is how our process works.
- Application
- First you must obtain an Application for Membership. This is accomplished by completing an application card
and placing it in the offering plate or turning it in to a pastor or the main office.
- Paperwork Sent
- Once the application card is received you will be sent a copy of the church By-Laws and personal information
sheets. These are to be completed and returned to the church office.
- Church 101
- Sometime during your application process you must attend a Church 101 class. This class is offered
approximately every six weeks on a Sunday evening. Keep an eye on the bulletin and announcements for details.
- Elder Interview
- After the Church 101 is completed and the paper work has been returned, an elder will be assigned to you for
an informal interview. He should contact you within two weeks of you completing 101 and/or turning in your paper
work.
- He will seek to get to know you and better understand your relationship with the Lord.
- During the interview you will have the opportunity to ask questions if you desire.
- Elder Approval
- After the interview is completed, your name(s) will be presented to the body of elders for approval.
- Church Introduction
- After approval, you will be contacted by the Discipleship Secretary and a time scheduled to “introduce”
you before the Body. She will find out which Sunday and which service is best for you.
If you desire to start the process for church membership you can complete the on-line membership application.
